Poona college of Pharmacy was earlier for good related to to university of Pune. it's currently a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). it's a grant-in-aid institute, conducting Graduate, Post-graduate and academic degree programmes in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The College has been granted approval by the All Bharat Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, that is that the apex body dominant technical and skilled education within the country. the faculty has conjointly been recognized by the University Grants Commission below Sections 2(f) and twelve (B) of its Act.The College and its degrees are approved by the Pharmacy Council of Bharat, New Delhi. Recognition by all the 3 apex bodies bear an affidavit to a really high level of educational excellence the school has achieved.  Earlier there was no separate college of Pharmaceutical Sciences in University of Pune. Dr. Shivajirao Kadam, Vice-Chancellor of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) and our former Principal, took an excellent deal of initiative and interest in making a separate college of Pharmaceutical Sciences in University of Pune in response to the growing importance of Pharmacy education. it's attributable to his efforts, a separate college of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established within the University of Pune.
