Al-Kabir Polytechnic (AKP) was established in 1990 in the Steel City of Jamshedpur, the modern heart of Jharkhand. It was conceived of the mission and the foresightedness of the individuals of the Trust and was sustained by the benevolent and committed endeavors of the Founder and the Chairman of Kabir Welfare Trust Haji Abdul Hakim .  It was a since quite a while ago valued want of the Kabir Welfare Trust to build up a Technical Institute to profit the minority and other in reverse networks of the Chhotanagpur locale just as the remainder of the country.
