Why Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Polytechnic?

Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Polytechnic is one of the chief Govt. of West Bengal run polytechnics giving Diploma level specialized training. It is subsidiary to West Bengal State Council of Technical Education and perceived by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The foundation was first begun as a Govt. supported polytechnic in the year 1962 at first at Deulia Uccha Vidyalaya, Berachampa with three exchanges, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Later it was moved to the present spot in July, 1963. At first its name was "Jagadish Chandra Polytechnic"(JCP). Sri A.Mukherjee was the primary Principal of JCP. In 1978 it was surpassed by the Education Dept, Technical Branch, Govt. of West Bengal therefore making it a completely govt. run polytechnic. In 2004 one more exchange Electronics and Telecommunication Engg was added to the rundown. In 2004 the foundation was renamed as "Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Polytechnic". 30th April is the establishment day of the foundation. 

Mission and Vision 

The polytechnic, named after globally acclaimed Bengali researcher Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose was set up in the year 1962. It began its adventure from Deulia Uccha Vidyalaya at Berachampa, North 24 Parganas. From that point forward the school conveys a valuable job in the possibility of certificate ENGINEERING ponders in West Bengal. This school is partnered to West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development and is endorsed by AICTE.
