The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh was introduced on eighteenth August, 2010 as an individual from a gathering of ten new NITs. These new NITs were built up as focuses of brilliance in specialized training to battle the developing need of mechanical experts in India. NIT Arunachal Pradesh began working under the mentorship of NIT Durgapur till, when the principal changeless Director Prof. (Dr.) Chandan Tilak Bhunia accepted the charge on first November, 2011. Initialy the NIT AP began working in an enlisted structure at Yupia, locale Papumpare as its temprorary site. Its changeless site is under development at Jote, locale Papumpare, encompassed by lovely green woods and mountains. The territory is pleasant and encompassing makes it perfect for a nobel scholarly condition.
