Mahendra Institute of Technology was established in 2007 by the Mahendra academic Trust underneath the visionary leadership of far-famed specialist Shri. M.G. Bharath Kumar is that the Chairman of the Trust and a well-known altruist during this region. the faculty is located on the Salem-to-Tiruchengode route, regarding twenty-five metric linear unit faraway from Salem.

Mahendra Institute of Technology is approved by AICTE and related to Pakistani monetary unit University - metropolis. Currently, it offers eight college boy programs and 3 postgraduate programs in Engineering & Technology. the faculty has analysis centre’s in engineering and physics and Communication Engineering through that degree programs area unit offered.
