Though this town has various renowned schools, the Ranaghat College, yet it lacked a Teacher’s Training Institution. So, to serve the needs of the people, theSt. Mary’s College Bachelor of Education and Higher Studies , was established by the Ranaghat Mandakini Educational Society in 2012 . The college is established with a view for the purpose of advancement of teaching, research and dissemination of knowledge in Teacher Education Programme and also to develop professional skills and competence of persons intending to take up teaching as their career.St. Mary’s College Bachelor of Education and Higher Studiesis open to persons of all religion of either gender irrespectively of their caste, creed, race, and ethnicity. The Library Resource Center offers services such as Reading Facilities, Reference, Open Access Facilities (Staff and M.Pharm), CAS, SDI, Photocopying, Circulation, Video Viewing, Computerized Information Search (Digital Library), Newspaper Clipping, etc. Sr. No.particular library facility is available as of date. Sports

The college take every effort to encourage our students to participate in various social, cultural, and sports activities. Modern style well equipped Gymnasium. Table Tennis and Carom facilities are available to the Students. The land has been purchased at Davadi a village in Dombivli for building a sophisticated well-equipped sports school.

I.T Infrastructure

The College has a Computer center equipped with 50 computers. It has the latest and frequently used software with a Wi-Fi facility. The students are trained to handle various software programs as per the curriculum of the University of Mumbai.

Cafeteria

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. A well-stocked hygienic canteen for students and staff members is available on the campus. The College has a spacious, air-conditioned auditorium with 500 seating capacity “S.V.B’s, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Auditorium” is available on the campus for conducting various events. It is equipped with the provision of a sound system, projector, LED screen, and backstage. Seminar Hall: The institute has an air-conditioned, well-furnished, and suitably equipped seminar hall with an audiovisual system and a seating capacity of 150.

Laboratories

The College have Eleven laboratories and two Instrument Rooms help students to practically learn the theoretical concepts and also the skill of working with sophisticated equipment. Each laboratory is provided with firefighting equipment, emergency shower and first-aid box for safety. Animal House facility approved by the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experimentation on Animals (CPCSEA) is available to conduct experiments using various animals like mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits.

The highest package was provided by Motilal Oswal company which is 2,50,000 CTC. The students who are getting placement are 100%. For now, I'll work. Internship Opportunities: The university offers us internships to get a better future and experience. The university offers us many internships. Examples: Airtel Companies, ICIC Groups, Trust Groups, etc. Internships from the 4th semester onwards are also possible.
