The authority of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University (basically accepted as Agra University) was arrange on the 1-07-1927, as a conclusion of boisterous achievement of a band of ardent educationists comparable Rev. Canon A.W. Davis, Dr L.P. Mathur, Lala Dewan Chand, Munshi Narain Prasad Asthana, Rai  Dr Brajendra Swaroop, and Bahadur Anand Swaroop. Original administration of University continued over United colony of Agra, Central India and Rajputana with 14 connected dorms and 2530 candidates of which, 1475 candidates apply to United Provinces. Originally, there were only 4 faculties in the academy viz. Sciences, Commerce, Arts, and Law. Faculties of antibiotic, Home Science, Basic Sciences, Fine Arts, Agriculture, and Management were added afterwards.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University of Social Science

Essentially works for specialized teaching courses, research, extension, sensitization, & training in Social Sciences with a focus to concentrate on problems of weaker sections including scheduled casts, scheduled tribes, & other backward classes and minorities, women & children. The university also conducts appropriate programs of education at post-graduate & higher levels of research in areas of social science.

DBRAU Application Process- 

There are a few steps that should follow before applying for the admission procedure: 

< Candidates must visit the official website of DBRAU Agra and fill the application form.

< Attach the requisite documents with all the application forms.

< The application fee of the INR 1000 (INR 700 for SC/ST) should be paid by Creditor  Debit Card or through Net-Banking.

< A demand draft (Non-refundable) must be submitted in the favor of “Finance Officer, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra” for the INR 700 (for the general/OBC) and INR 500 (for SC/ST).

< The application form along with the Demand Draft needs to be speed post or be registered post.
