The school allows candidates to apply online by filling out the online application form on the IBS Mumbai official website. Candidates need to fill in some basic personal information, scanned transcripts of class 10 and 12, SC/ST/OBC certificate (if any), passport size photo and courses of interest. The university organizes its own entrance exam and the scores will be taken into account in selecting students to the school. If the student is eligible for the entrance exam, the student will be called for the selection process in the respective branches (IBS-Mumbai) and after a group discussion by the respective selection members. Final selection will be made on the basis of a personal interview.

Campus: 80,000 square foot campus with 15 two-story classrooms, a 225-seat auditorium, teacher cabins, separate common rooms for men and women, a gymnasium, and three student-lecture halls tablet interacts with an Internet connection. It has two large conference rooms and a lobby. The campus also has a cafeteria.
Library: It has a huge collection of more than 28,000 books, 13 international and 92 national magazines and journals and more than 2,000 CDs. It subscribes to 8 major online databases.
Hostel: Hostel is not available at IBS campuses (except IBS Hyderabad and Jaipur). However, the school management will assist students in finding suitable off-campus housing near the school.
