MAHARSHI MENHI HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL was established on 29th April 1980 in Katiharin the name of pious saint MAHARSHI MENHI, under the Governing Body. Presently, it is under the MAHARSHI MENHI CHARITABLE TRUST, KATIHAR.The Institute, affiliated to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzuffarpur, presently conducts the degree course in Homoeopathy viz Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery [B.H.M.S.] since 1987.Today it consists of an Undergraduate section with an auditorium of 300 seating capacity, a hospital having an outpatient department and a 25 bedded inpatients department along with investigative facilities.The Institute is functioning in its own campus measuring about 6 acres of land atJeewachh Nagar, Katihar, Bihar- 854105 and 2 acres at Kuretha, Katihar, with a total floor space of more than50 thousand square metres with effect from 11.08.2016.The mission of Maharshi Menhi Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is to foster excellence in Homoeopathic Medical Education and Research, to educate and train undergraduate, post graduate students and research scholars of homoeopathy in accordance with highest professional standards and ethical values unfettered by the barriers of nationality, language, culture, plurality, religion and to meet the healthcare needs of the community through dissemination of knowledge and service.Maharshi Menhi Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital aspires to be the Bihar’s most energetic and responsive Institution, offering unparalleled educational opportunities in homoeopathy for learner community seeking the highest quality undergraduate and continuing personal or professional enrichment in higher education and selected professions that will lead to formation of scholarly community serving the nation by advancing, sharing and applying knowledge, and by facilitating the development of thoughtful, creative, adaptable, contributing and humane citizens.

Computer Laboratory
Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e-resource center, which provides access to e-resources among other things.
Library
Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full-text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.
Canteen
The College campus has a spacious and well-ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.
Seminar Rooms
The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.

Notification and Application The college releases admission notifications through its official website, local newspapers, or other mediums.
