In 1950 they started Gopal krishna Gokhale college as a tutorial college on the Model of Oxford and Cambridge. The management provided free education; free boarding and lodging to the poverty-stricken students.

NCC

The National trainee Corps ( NCC ) is associate Indian military trainee corps with its Headquarters at the national capital, Delhi, India. it's receptive faculty and faculty students on a voluntary basis. National trainee Corps could be a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the military, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic voters. The National trainee Corps in Bharat could be a voluntary organization that recruits cadets from high faculties, schools and universities everywhere Bharat. The Cadet's square measure gave basic grooming in little arms and parades. The officers and cadets don't have any liability for active military service once they complete their course.

NSS

The service scheme (NSS) is associate indian government-sponsored public computer program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the govt of India. Popularly called NSS, the theme was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year, 1969. aimed toward developing student's temperament through community service, NSS could be a voluntary association of teens in schools, Universities and at +2 level operating for a campus-community linkage.
