Periyar Maniammai College of Technology for ladies established within the year 1988 as Associate in Nursing exclusive engineering College for ladies in Vallam-Thanjavur, Madras by Periyar Maniammai academic and Charitable Society, Chennai-600 007. Named once the nice social reformers of the 20 th century, Thanthai Periyar and Annai Maniammaiyar, the Periyar Maniammai College of Technology for ladies had the excellence of being the primary womens engineering College within the world. the first focus was on institutionalising the lofty ideals of Periyar to pave the approach for womens release by providing them exaggerated access to instruction in Science and Technology and inspiring their participation in social, national / international development. the College was started with the approval of state of Madras and every one Bharat Council for Technical Education, Indian capital and affiliation to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli.T.N.
