Admissions Open in Khalsa College

Khalsa College, the premier-most institute of upper learning, was established by the leaders of the Singh Sabha Movement in 1892. They were galvanized by the lofty ideals of the nice Gurus. They planned it to be a growing establishment which might try forever to attain a high degree of excellence of mind and body for the welfare of the youth. The field of study grandeur of its buildings and layout of its field clearly demonstrates the desire of the founders.

The mission of the institute is :

• To provide opportunities for instructional, vocational, skilled, social, linguistic and cultural development to the folks of all talents and backgrounds in order that they will discover their potential and fulfill their aspirations.
• To promote morality and sobriety of life, to promulgate and to evangelise teachings of 10 Gurus as contained in Sri Guru Adi Granth ; to imbibe students of the Sikh religion with idealism and ethical disciplines schooled by the Gurus and work them for how of life which will bring credit to the community and therefore the country; to develop the college of meditation and of non secular education and to supply worthy voters of India
• To develop two-dimensional temperament of the coed by providing a chance to participate in non secular, cultural, co-curricular, theatrical, literary and sports activities.
• To price originality and vision, encourage initiative and promote ability.
