Admissions Open in Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang was set up in the time of 1982 and was overseen legitimately by the Govt. of Odisha for the sake of Odisha College of Engineering (OCE). Preceding this, since 1981, the foundation for the sake of Modern Polytechnic (MPT) was offering Diploma Courses in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining Survey Engineering. In the year 1987, both OCE and MPT were consolidated and renamed as IGIT, Sarang and the administration was moved to an Autonomous Society. By and by, the Institute is offering nine Under Graduate Engineering courses in Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science Engg., Production Engg., Architecture; and two low maintenance Post Graduate Engg courses in Industrial Power Control and Drives, Environmental Sc. &Engg.; nine full time Post Graduate Engg courses/Master courseComputer Sc.Engg., Electronics and Telecom. Engg, GeotechEngg.,Mechanical System Design, Mett. and Materials Engg., Power Electronics and Drives, Power System Engg., Production Engg., Structural Engg., Master in Computer Application; other than five Diploma Courses in Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering. 

The Institute is completely private with an incorporated grounds covering 179 sections of land of land including inns, staff quarters and a rambling play area (Dr. M. P. Mishra dedication arena) with b-ball, volleyball and badminton courts. What's more, with the Govt. endorsement, a proposition has been submitted to District experts for further estrangement of 200 sections of land of Govt. land before the Institute for its further development.
