Govt. Hrangbana College, situated in Chanmari in the city of Aizawl, was set up in July, 1980. The College is dedicated after Mr. HRANGBANA (Late), one instruction disapproved and noticeable agent who liberally gave a total of Rupees one lakh to begin the school without any preparation.
The College was moved up to the Deficit Grant-in-Aid Status in 1985 lastly has turned into a Government College in 2003.
