Chirayu K.C. Bajaj College of Education is one of the pioneer institutes in Nagpur district. It is situated away from hustle & bustle of the town in congenial natural setting, 2 kms far from Sadar Chhaoni. The building of the college generates a feeling of peace and tranquillity. This college is renowned for its quality education in B.Ed. programme.
This college is founded in the fond memory of Late Shri. Khubchandji Bajaj in the year 2005 to promote excellence in teacher education. Our college is providing training to Pre-service teachers to enhance their personality traits- their teaching skills, academic achievements, professional efficiency, high intelligence, citizenship and enlightened living.
We have highly qualified teaching staff with maximum numbers of doctorate degree teachers. We have well planned curriculum, modern infrastructure and facilities, well equipped laboratories, excellent library facility. College is known for giving meritorious students every year and for placement service.
Other than academic excellence our aim is to produce inspiring , creative and innovative teachers, for this purpose college is equipped with the facilities of Cyber Lab, Language Lab, Nature club, Art & Craft club, Library Science Club, Multi-media club, Guidance and Counselling cell and Placement cell.

Boys Hostel
The College has a Hostel life is an important part of the college. Getting to know your fellow student and living in an environment conducive to the pursuit of goals is vital to academic performance in college years. Different hostels for Boys with all facilities including Mess and other amenities are available. The accommodation for boys is available at YCCE Hostel for 50 boys on a sharing basis. Mental and physical relaxation is offered to the students in the hostel through facilities such as the meditation center, the gymnasium, etc. Other facilities include a library, cable TV, dispensary, and 24 x 7 Internet facilities.
Girls Hostel
The College has a Hostel life is an important part of the college. Getting to know your fellow student and living in an environment conducive to the pursuit of goals is vital to academic performance in college years. Different hostels for Girls with all facilities including Mess and other amenities are available. The Girls hostel is on sharing basis of 25 beds with Devashri Girls Hostel at Nagpur. Mental and physical relaxation is offered to the students in the hostel through facilities such as the meditation center, the gymnasium, etc. Other facilities include the library, cable TV, dispensary, and 24 x 7 Internet facilities.
Medical/Hospital
The College has a dispensary on campus where doctors are available regularly on call and they also pay a visit to Institute on a regular basis. Timely check-ups and alliances with major hospitals in Nagpur ensure specialized care. For meeting the emergency call an Ambulance is also provided on the campus.
Gym
The college has its own well-equipped Gymnasium with all the modern health instruments. All health-savvy students make use of this facility to maintain physical and mental fitness.
Library
The library is fully Computerized with facilities like open stack areas, individual study tables, reference book section, e-journal section, etc. The library is well equipped and spacious with 4,599 titles of books and 6754 volumes. The library has an annual subscription of twenty-four National Journals and nine International Journals. Also, there is a Digital Library Facility and Computerized OPAC system in the Library with automation through the barcoding of books. The library staff aims to organize programs for students about the working process of OPAC, to develop reading habits in the students, and to help in their professional development. Library offers a book bank scheme for the meritorious and needy student in which five books are given to the student for the complete academic session. There is also a social welfare scheme for SC/ST students, in which a set of books is given to a student for the complete academic session.

The college provides facilities and encouragement for every sports activity that students find interest in. The College has Computing Facilities are available for students at the Computer Centre having 60 Computer terminals of Pentium-4, Dual Core E 2.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, and 19" TFT screens (DELL make) with LAN and Wireless Computing Facilities. Two System Softwares are available i.e. Window XP, Window Vista-Business Edition, and Four Application Softwares i.e. E-trust, M.S. Office, Customer, Library Automation, Customized software for purchase and Central Store, Turbo C, C+, MSDNAA.

Education
Placements are the main reason for students to apply for this college. This college offers an excellent number of jobs to their students. 3lakh per annum are the average packages after graduating from the college. 70% students get placement after graduation. My plans after degree is to complete post graduation from Pune.
Most of the students can apply for placement in the last sem of the degree. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, and Deloitte, came for on-campus placement and around 40-50% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 3.5 LPA by Deloitte and whereas Lowest offered was 1.9 LPA by TCS. I planned of pursuing further studies after my graduation and took admission in a post-graduation course or MCA.
Placements are provided by our college for biotechnology, electronics etc. Roles offered by the companies to students are fresher jobs or internships. An average number of students got placed from our college. About 75% of the students get placed from our college.Students after bachelor of science don't have a lot of job opportunities right after bachelor's. Thus placements are not provided in the same field of education. Even if the campus drives do take place, they were mostly for very a less salary package in the back end position of a company like Wipro,tcs etc.
