The Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Social Work was established by Shram Safalya Education Society, Amalner. The Shram Safalya Education Society, Amalner is renowned educational institute in North Maharashtra region of the Maharashtra state. The Ramai College of Physical Education (B.P.Ed), Shram Safalya Education Society’s Industrial Training Institute and Nischay Community Center is run by the Shram Safalya Education Society, Amalner under the dynamic leadership of Shri. Subhashdada Dodhu Bhandarkar (B.E.Mech.)Bhandarkar family has a long legacy of philanthropy by starting educational schools before independence Gangaram Sakharam High School (for Boys), Draupadibai Kanya High School (for Girls), Ramchadrabhau Nutan Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Land donated to Philosophy Center (which is 105 years old now) and other social services in this region. Dodhu Gangaram Bhandarkar was editor of Famous “PATRI” Magazine written by a well-known freedom fighter “PUJYA SANE GURUJI” before independence.

The College of Social Work was started in the academic year 2000-2001, since the inception the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Social Work subsequently influenced the direction of social work education and social research in North Maharashtra. It has achieved academic excellence and has been catering to the demands of professional social workers in the areas of welfare, development, industry and research. The college has also been very actively involved in awareness programmes on various social issues, field action projects, and research projects.

Boys Hostel

Our college provides a good placement for the computer branch. You have to clear your all subjects then and then you are eligible for placement. Our college provides about 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per anum. Near about 80 percent of students get an offer and 60 to 65 accept the offer letter. Having a good job with at least 10 lakhs per anum will be great for me and for my family.

The students are eligible from the sixth semester for the placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and many companies will be coming to the place students. The highest package of the college is 20lakh per year. An average package is 3.5 lakhs. Above 75 percent of students were placed at the time of placement.

Students appeared for placement in 6 semesters. In the placement of the students TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini is this company that will be coming. The highest package of the college is 2000000 per anum. An average package is 3.5 lack per anum. The percentage of the placement is above 75%.

Maximum numbers of students were placed by placements provided in 3rd and last year. Near about 70-80% of students are getting placed each year. Not only placement is provided teachers help students to prepare for each and every aspect. Companies are all MNC.
