Vijaya Institute of technology for Women (VITW) is a nonprofit organization established under the umbrella of SRK Foundation in 2008. The institution was carved out of the benign vision of eminent educationist and industrialist, Sri B. S. Appa Rao, who desired of providing quality education to the rural, semi urban and urban students. The institution is located on the National Highway 5 in the city of Vijayawada, also known as cultural capital of Andhra Pradesh, on the banks of river Krishna. Its location makes it one of the most accessible colleges in the city.The institution is located in an area of 4 acres with 17,824 sq.mts of built up area. The institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Andhra Pradesh. The institution is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, KakinadaIt is also certified by ISO 9001-2015. The institution started student admissions in 4 UG programmes viz: ECE, EEE, CSE and IT branches. Today, the institution offers 6 UG programmes with a sanctioned intake of 420 students. The institution is offering 2 new UG programmes called Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and Data Science, AI&ML started in the academic year 2020-21 and Data Science in CSE from the academic year 2022-2023 on wards.

Boys Hostel
The College has Boy’s hostel is provided inside the campus area. Each hostel is provided with separate study rooms, a TV room with LCD screens, a phone booth on each floor, and computer rooms. The boy’s hostel too can accommodate more than 100 students. The hostel is secured 24 hours, 7 days a week by security guards. Warden with caretakers is available also in the hostel 24/7. The students are not permitted to carry cell phones on the campus. The students are provided with other extracurricular activities such as yoga and providing extra training to improve communication skills.
Girls Hostel

Medical/Hospital
An In-house clinic is provided within the campus staffed by a highly qualified doctor, assisted with experienced nurses.
Library
The Central Library of is located in a convenient place for all the B.Tech, MCA, and MBA Students. It has a sprawling area that is more than the required norms with splendid ventilation and continuous airflow. More than 300 students can be seated in the library at any one time. Digital Library facility for all the UG and PG Students for their preparation, about the paper presentation, and research-oriented programmers. More than 14000 volumes are available in the Library to enhance their knowledge. A good number of National and International Journals of different disciplines are available.
Sports
Our college provides more than 10 acres of playground for the student to undertake sporting activities. Also, various facilities exist that are equipped with different sports equipment and sports rooms.
I.T Infrastructure
The college provides 6 computer labs consisting of 60 terminals with the latest configurations (P-IV systems & Dual-Core). All labs are LAN connected operating on different operating systems such as Windows NT, MS-DOS, Windows -98, and Unix. Software is available in the lab: MS Office, Flash, Latex, etc. Programming languages provided in the labs: C, C++, JAVA, VC++, ADVANCED, JAVA, COBOL, ORACLE11i, UML, and SQL.
Cafeteria
The College Canteen facility is provided on the college campus itself. The canteen has good infrastructure and provides good service for the students and staff on all working days. The canteen is able to accommodate more than 100 students at a time and also provides a green natural environment where students can take advantage of the natural atmosphere.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Transport Facility
Bus service is provided for the students residing in Cuddapah and Rayachoti town also covering the nearby areas.

Admission of the students into Program course is based on the state level common Entrance test, ICET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Admission of the students into programme is based on PGECET conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and all India GATE exam.
