SBIT is supported by Sri Swarna Bharathi Educational Society enlisted under the Registration of Societies Act (Regd. No. 6362/01) by a gathering of educationalists and altruists, committed to the reason for advancing quality training. 

Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology(SBIT), built up in the year 2003 is subsidiary to JNTUH. The school offers a variety of testing profession building projects and courses which are affirmed by AICTE.

Rambling over a huge breadth of 14 sections of land of prime land, SBIT is the main Engineering College in Khammam town in a nearby region of 4 km from transport and railroad stations of Khammam town.
