Kuppam Engineering College (KEC) was inaugurated by the technology savvy Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri. N. Chandra Babu Naidu garu on 11-09-2001. The Institute was promoted by a well-Known Philanthropist Mr. B. C. Nagaraj, Founder Chairman of BCN Group of Institutions. KEC is accredited by NBA, certified by ISO 9001:2008 and recognized by UGC under 2(F) & 12(B). KEC is graded ‘A’ by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Dr. N. Sunilraj, M.B.B.S., young and dynamic Vice-Chairman is working with an objective for phenomenal growth of the Institution and for its autonomous status in the near future. The Institute is headed by a dynamic Principal, Dr. S. Sudhakar Babu who has good academic and administrative experience.Kuppam Engineering College building is constructed on a sprawling 55 acres campus of elevated land surrounded by pollution free lush green scenic vegetation on the north fringe. It is well connected by road and rail. It is only 105 Kms away from Bangalore (Silicon) city, 180 Kms away from Chennai and 110 Kms away from Chittoor. The climate is very similar to that of Bangalore. Nearest railway station is Kuppam and nearest airport is Bangalore.Kuppam Engineering College runs the following Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Research programs with an objective to uplift the rural society.The Departments of EEE and ECE are recognized as approved research centres for Ph.D. programs by JNTUA, Ananthapuramu.KEC has well established laboratories, dedicated and devoted staff members in the various Departments of Engineering and Humanities and Sciences. The ambience in the Institute is good and encourages the Students to take part in Co-curricular and Extra curricular activities for an overall development of the students. In order to improve the employability of the students graduating, KEC imparts value added skills through Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation, ORACLE Academy, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, CISCO and Auto desk. The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation in collaboration with SIEMENS has established a skill development centre to help the students attain skills apart from their curriculum for better employability prospects.Kuppam Educational Society in addition to Kuppam Engineering College also established Kuppam Public School, Kuppam Junior College, Kuppam Polytechnic, Kuppam Degree College, Kuppam Teacher Training Institute and Kuppam College of Nursing for educational development of the society in and around Kuppam.Sri. B.C.Nagaraj, Founder Chairman of KEC is recently awarded “Excellence in the filed of education in rural area” by Andhra Pradesh State Government. The award has been presented to him by the Chittoor District Collector Sri. P.S. Pradyumna IAS, on the 69th Republic Day Celebrations in Chittoor on 26-01-2018.

Computer Laboratory
Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e-resource center, which provides access to e-resources among other things.
Library
Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full-text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.
Canteen
The College campus has a spacious and well-ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.
Seminar Rooms
The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.
