M/s Kusum Gupta & Associates Trust accepted with humility to start a nursing institution for GNM and B.Sc. Nursing so as to provide highly trained Nursing professionals as per international standards. M/s Kusum Gupta & Associates trust has been constituted as per the trust laws of Himachal Pradesh duly registered with the appropriate authorities. The main objective is to impart training in quality nursing care to the students seeking admission.Our professionally educated and trained nurses would be able to serve all over India and abroad. The teaching faculty is as per the INC and State Government norms. Nursing students are being posted at the Regional Hospital Solan, IGMC Shimla, IHBAS Delhi and various other peripheral institutions for their effective clinical and rural community experience. Classrooms and the labs are as per norms having the latest gadgets and equipments. On campus accommodation is provided for students and faculty members as the students are under the watchful eyes of their teachers. The hostel has 24 hours hot water supply, electricity backup , dining hall, recreational room, meditation room, playground, indoor games like table tennis, chess, carom board etc. and other facilities for over- all grooming of the students.For convenience of the faculty members, on campus accommodation are being provided, which further helps the students to have better interaction with the faculty and provides a family atmosphere. Adequate arrangements for security of the campus and students have been made by the administration. Vehicle is available for the staff and students to commute and also for hostlers to visit the city. A spacious auditorium with high-tech equipments is provided, to hold conferences and seminars which will help to grow the knowledge of the students.

Computer Laboratory

Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e resource center, which provides access to e resources among other things.

Library

Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.

Canteen

The College campus has a spacious and well ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.

Seminar Rooms

The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state of the art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.
