Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved College is a light-bearing foundation so far as the transmitting of the beams of Ayu learning is worried in Gujarat. It was far in 1946 that the establishment of this college was laid by support from the then Royal family Maharaja Shri Digvijaysinhji and Maharani Shree Gulabkunverba alongside the meticulous endeavors of Dr. P. At the beginning, the college was subsidiary with "State Faculty of Ayurved and Unani System of Medicines" of Bombay State and the alumni of Ayurveda were dispensed the level of D. A. S. F. The complete organization of Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved Mahavidyalaya was cared for by Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved Society. The establishment continued prospering under the capable direction of Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved Society and its executive Mr. K. P. Shah.
The Legislative Assembly of Gujarat State passed a bill to set up a self-ruling University for Ayurvedic training, and hence the Gujarat Ayurved University was set up on 5/01/1967. Jamnagar was chosen to be the focal working spot of the University and hence, Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved College turned into a unit of the University.
Together with the foundation of the college, Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved Chikitsalaya likewise appeared and this clinic has a limit of 150 beds at IPD level. Different OPDs take are of various patients of different illnesses on everyday schedule premises.
