The Jan Pragati Education Society (JPES) has a rich and proud heritage of academic excellence and is a leading house in the field of Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology, Nursing, Management, School and Teacher’s Education. The main objective of the Jan Pragati Education Society (JPES) is the creation of higher human resources for excellence in the respective spheres of work, the consolidation, the technological and instructional power to sustain that excellence. The Jan Pragati Education Society is managed by duly constituted Governing Body, which was established in the year 2003. The society is registered Under Society registration Act XXI of 1866 rule vide registration No. 1398. JPES began its journey with the establishment of the Columbia College of Pharmacy in 2004 with a motto of imparting value-based education in the field of pharmacy and providing services for the welfare of mankind. The Columbia Institute of Engineering and Technology, Raipur (CIET, Raipur) was established in the year of 2008 followed by the Columbia College of Nursing in 2011.

Common Rooms

The college has common rooms for both girls and boys, where they can sit and relax. The common room is equipped with electricity, fans, bathrooms, etc. The room is properly ventilated, well-lighted, neat and clean to provide a conducive environment.

Sport

Our college is committed for the overall development of students. As a sequel to this, equal emphasis is laid on sports and games along with academics. Students are encouraged to participate and excel in sports in order to provide relaxation, channelize their energy, nurture competitive spirit, enhance team spirit and achieve leadership qualities. The college provides adequate sporting equipment and infrastructural facilities for sports to conduct indoor and outdoor games for students. 

Transportation

Excellent Transportation is one of the special features of the College. The college owns a fleet of buses and van which are made available to the students and the faculty members for commuting from various points. The vehicles are the best of its kind & confirm to environmental & safety norm. 

Canteen

Canteen facility is available in the college where fresh food and healthy snacks are served. The Canteen serves snacks, beverages, breakfast and lunch with a variety of items which suit the needs of students as well as for the staff. There are two canteens in the college campus, one is of 5000 sq. ft. area which provides snacks, beverages, breakfast and lunch and the other is of 1000 sq. ft. area in which only snacks, beverages and breakfast are available.

R.O. Drinking Water

Pure drinking water is an important resource for all. Drinking water is purified by modern treatment techniques using reverse osmosis in college. To purify drinking water, a huge commercial vessel RO machine has been installed which provides all students, faculty, staff members and visitors by cooling the water by dispensers installed on every floor.
