The Parent Institution D.N.R. College was established on 4th July 1945 by Sri Dantuluri Narayana Raju, the founder and freedom fighter to cater to the educational needs of the people and is re-accredited with 'A' level by NAAC, under the august body of D.N.R. College Association. The Association is running UG Courses, PG Courses MBA (AU), MBA (JNTU), D.Ed, B.Ed, M.Ed, B.Tech, Polytechnic and from K.G. to Intermediate.D.N.R. College of Law was established in 1989 by the D.N.R.College Association at Bhimavaram, West Godavari District, A.P. and is one of the premier institutions in the parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh. DNR Law College made a modest beginning in the year 1989 with the initiation of late Sri Gokaraju Ranga Raju, President and Sri G.S.Ramabhadra Raju, Secretary of College Association. The aim of the institution is to cater the needs of legal education in these areas. The college made rapid strides under the able leadership of Late Sri Bh.Vijaya Kumar Raju, Member of Parliament, President of DNR College association. He has taken the College to new heights during his tenure. The College has been progressing on sound lines under the dynamic Management of Sri G.V. Narasimha Raju, President and Sri G.Satyanarayana Raju, Secretary& Correspondent of the College Association.IMPORTANCE OF THE PLACE The College is located at Bhimavaram, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. Bhimavaram is centre of learning with number of educational institutions of State and National repute. It can be reached through Vijayawada-Gudiwada-Bhimavaram Railway Branch line. It has road connectivity from Vijayawada-Tadepalligudem also. The National Highway 216 passes through Bhimavaram.

Computer Laboratory
Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e-resource center, which provides access to e-resources among other things.
Library
Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full-text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.
Canteen
The College campus has a spacious and well-ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.
Seminar Rooms
The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.
