VTU Ph.D. Minimum Eligibility Criteria
1. The university admission committee considers only those aspirants to be eligible for Ph.D. who has a master’s course degree in technology or engineering from any recognized university in the country.
3. The basic eligibility criteria of the applicant will be based on the marks scored by him or her in the post-graduation and the university expects a minimum of 60% aggregate here. Equivalent to this in the CGPA system, a 6.5 is required from all candidates.
4. Candidates should also have a bachelor's course degree in technology or engineering with their scores being a minimum of 70% or a 7.5 CGPA out of 10.
5. Aspirants should have obtained patents or published research papers in order to be eligible for the Ph.D. study program at VTU.
7. All applying candidates for the Ph.D. study program should give the entrance test conducted by the VTU to determine the candidate’s eligibility criteria. The final selection will be based on whether the candidate has given the eligibility exam or not.
