Why St. Xavier's College?

St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi may be a Minority establishment supported faith established and administered by the Ranchi Jesuit Province of the Society of Jesus. the College is registered by the Ranchi Province underneath the native title ‘Xaviers Ranchi’ underneath the Society’s Registration Act XXI of 1860 and connected to Ranchi University Ranchi. While preference is shown to the tutorial and cultural wants of the Minority community, admission is hospitable all no matter caste, creed and status. St. Xavier's College, Ranchi may be a premier establishment of the State of Jharkhand, impartation quality education and has remained a center of excellence until date. this is often a minority establishment. it's been authorized by NAAC with Grade- "A" in 2013. The University Grants Commission presented Autonomous standing in 2005 and granted "College with Potential for Excellence" standing in 2006.

Policy

As a Jesuit higher establishment, St Xavier's pursues a policy in admission, formation, and coaching, in favor of the Christian minority and also the poor i.e. socially and financially marginalized as well as SC / ST / OBC. monetary help in terms of scholarships etc are munificently offered to worthy and gifted students, no matter caste and creed.

Courses

St. Xavier's College offers UG and PG courses underneath six Colleges: Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, line of work and Education. It conjointly offers numerous skilled certificate and certification courses.
