Admissions Open in Sh. Kartar Singh Vats Memorial College of Education

Sh. Kartar Singh Vats Memorial College of Education is located in Kaithal district of Haryana. It is managed and run along Sh. Kartar Singh Vats Memorial Trust, Kurukshetra. The college of teaching education is associated to State Council of academic Research and Training (SCERT), Haryana. Sh. Kartar Singh Vats Memorial College of Education control teacher’s training programme at the undergraduate level - Diploma in Education (D. Ed). It is 2-year full time programme, which is authorize by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Sh. Kartar Singh Vats Memorial College of Education has number of crunnt facilities to ensure creamy conduct of its course within the campus.

Women Cell: 

• Under the National Education Policy, the College has organize a Women Cell. The Cell has following few aims and objectives.
• To generate awareness among girl candidates about their rights and to educate and motivate them to raise their voice against gender-bias.
• To offer counselling about vocational and career opportunities to the girl candidates and to help them in solving their problems.
• To set up activities of many kinds in order to develop their personality..

NSS Activities:

The College has 3 units of N.S.S. Comprising 100 candidates each. The purpose of the scheme is to develop all-round personality of the candidates and to make them socially useful and patriotic citizens and to develop in them the sense of importance of labour. N.S.S. offers a forum to the young candidates for social service during their spare time. The candidates having N.S.S. merit certificate are entitled to the 5% weightage for admission to the institutions of excessive education. A number of activities are conducted during the educational session by these units such as Blood Donation Camp, Social Service Camp in the rural sevtors, Van Mohatsav, Quiz Contests. etc.
