Admissions Open in Government College

Govt. College, Tigaon was accepted on 5th July 1970. It is one of the premier institutions to impart & offer in the area of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress. The college is located in Tigaon village of Faridabad district at a distance of about 15 km from Faridabad town, about ten km from Ballabhgarh bus stand, and five km from NTPC campus on the Ballabhgarh-Tigaon Road. The college is associated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) on 27th May 1981 under Act, 1956. It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.10 on a four Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 14th September 2015. Accepted by Sh.Dharam Vir Nagar, (Chairman, Shaheed Smarak Educational Trust, Tigaon) in 1970 as Shaheed Smarak College in the memory of valiant martyrs of this land, the college was taken over through the Haryana Government on 27th May 1981. Since then, the college has made great progress and we hope it would touch crunnt heights in the years to come. The main purpose of the college is determined to offers the quality education to the future teachers. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate study through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves. The college provides 3 years undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce and Management stream under Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It also offers many Add-On courses.
