Admission:- 

The university offers UG, PG, Doctoral, Diploma, and Certificate courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Management and  Law, Journalism, etc. Admission to the B.Tech program is done on the basis of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. For research, the programs such as M.Phil and Ph.D admission is are  done on the basis of the Research Entrance Test conducted by the university followed by an interview. However, Calcutta University also are  offers admission on the basis of merits prepared by them on the basis of 12th score for some of the UG programs.
